As we come to the end of a school year unlike any other, the Tupper PAC on behalf of our parent community would like to say a heartfelt thank-you to our amazing Tupper teachers, administrators, and support staff. You have continued to show up for our students throughout this year of constant stress and anxiety - and that on top of navigating a first-ever quadmester system and several changes on the fly to the structure of courses and timetables! We deeply appreciate your perseverance through the challenges of this new reality, and we join you in hoping that next September will see a much more normal Tupper world. We've invited parents to add their thanks & thoughts to ours in the comments below.
Thank you all, and best wishes for a relaxing and restful summer! Sincerely, Mary Levitan & Christy Thomas, PAC Co-Chairs, and the Tupper PAC executive

Hi when people ask me about Tupper I’m able to say with confidence that teachers love their jobs at Tupper. It’s really exciting to see a teacher totally engaged with your child and able to teach them in a way that they love school. Thanks so much Tupper teachers for another great year! We really appreciate you.

We could not have survived this uncertain year without the support and guidance from our Tupper teachers. Because you truly care for your students, you have provided them not only a space to learn, but to feel safe and nurtured.

Thank you very much to all the teachers at Tupper. It has been a difficult year for everyone, and every effort you've put in has, I'm sure, multiplied in its effect on your students and the whole school community. I appreciate everyone who hung in there and found ways to teach and mentor in new ways through these unusual circumstances. Hope you all have a wonderful summer.

We cannot begin to express how humbled and proud we are to be a Tupper family. Our Aliyah has quite a few mental health struggles but always get the greatest care and support from her teachers and support staff. What a year this has been! phew! The commitment and grace manifested day in and day out is so incredibly profound. Thank you isn't enough...but THANK YOU! The Fishers

I wished to express my upmost respect and gratitude for the staff, from the teachers, counsellors to the administrators, at Tupper Secondary. It has been an unbelievable and challenging year. You have exhibited such a resilient and wonderful environment for the students, not only by implementing the required steps to meet public health guidelines, but by being there when either parents or students had a question. Please take this time to reflect what a year and you survived! Well done, bravo 👏🏽

Sadly our years at Tupper are coming to a close, first with the graduation of my son Quinton, and now two years later with my daugter Olivia. A huge thank you to all who continue, day after day, to engage, challenge, encourage, and motivate these growing minds to become life long learners.

Huge thanks to all the teachers and staff who continued to show up and teach and care in this incredibly challenging year. It's been a great five years as a Tupper parent, knowing I was sending my kid off every day to a school that actually lives & believes the words in its code of conduct. I hope you all have a restful summer and next year is much less stressful!

Thank-you so much for your dedication and bravery this year. It was a TOUGH one and you were all the epitome of 'grace under pressure'. In-class learning made SUCH a huge difference to my kids this year - I know their mental health would have suffered much more without the structure and positive interaction they got at school. Thank-you so much for doing your regular (hard) job and putting yourself in the direct line of fire for our kids!

Our son is graduating this year- so excited for him but also bittersweet-we are sad for him and his grad peers that they have not had the usual grad year experience. Their resilience during this pandemic has been astounding! It has been so fantastic to have in class learning throughout the year- we are so grateful to the teachers and staff that made this to happen. Thank you so much Tupper staff for your incredible commitment to teaching way beyond expectations. My son always had a story or two of something either incredibly interesting that was discussed in class or something very funny that a teacher said in class and it really kept him engaged.

Thank you to the kind, supportive and committed teachers for making high school such a positive experience. Chloe has often spoken of the help that’s been given so generously when she’s had questions or the interesting assignments that connected and engaged her in new subjects.
