Post-Secondary Information Session for Parents of Current Grade 10 & 11 students Date: Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm Venue: Kensington Cedar Cottage Library ** Room capacity is limited.** To give maximum access, we ask that one person per family attend. Our students have studied their course options for the next school year, possibly, taking their post-secondary plans into consideration. In this session, gain some helpful advice on how best to support and assist your student to find their program and university of choice. Learn more about how the university credit system works, application time frames and valuable scholarship and financial aid information. Speaker: Mr. Robin Barton ** Robin has been a student academic counsellor for over fifteen years. With expert knowledge, he guides parents and students by providing resources to support the student’s exploration and university application. Robin is qualified to offer MBTI Personality Inventory and the Strong Interest Career Inventory – both beneficial reporting tools that provide insight into the student’s personality and suitability for the careers they are considering. ============================================= Please be reminded, this replaces the March PAC meeting, our next meeting is April 11 at 7 pm in the Tupper staff lounge and is open to Tupper 2018/19 newcomers. We hope to see lots of you there!
